Job Description
- Evaluate awarded tenders and create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Coordinate communications between the company and the main contractor.
- Manage document distribution between main office and site office.
- Share in quantity surveying duties including quantities and invoices verification.
- Daily coordination with finance, production, logistics and project site.
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems and claims.
- Prepare status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules.
- Keep an accurate record and electronic database of all elements of the projects, along with regular documentation of progress, incidents, site conditions, changes in scope, claims, etc.
- Maintain stone samples and coordinates with Import and Production to make sure stone quality delivered matches the contracted stone.
Job Requirements
- Architectural background.
- Minimum two years of experience in well-known company.
- Attention to detail and meticulous.
- Strong administrative, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Technical writing background is a plus.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and AutoCad. Primavera and Adobe are a plus.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
