Job Description
- Assign and schedule work tasks with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment, and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments.
- Evaluate team members’ individual performances to ensure quality operations, and investigate any and all accidents caused by team members, and prepare relevant reports.
- Work with the Maintenance Planning department to evaluate needs for all work requests—both scheduled and unscheduled—as well as any special projects that arise.
- Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and any other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, Civil , and plumbing systems.
- Plan projects to complete assigned tasks, and coordinate and follow up on incidental carpentry, masonry, and painting and plaster work.
- Review and maintain Facility maintenance logs and Facility maintenance budgets, and complete any and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems;
- Maintain, operate all plumbing systems, and building repairs
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
- Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
- Maintain compliance to City, County ordinances and codes
- Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 4 years minimum experience in same field.
- Strong leadership skills and excellent working knowledge of maintenance, electrical and Civil Works.
- Ability to perform Facility maintenance checks and investigations of Facility problems.
- Good English, verbal / written communication
- Ability to work well through others
- Good computer skills
