Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Databases deployment, administration; DB2, Oracle and SQL
- Upgrade/patching of the Data Bases.
- Monitor, maintain database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
- Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures.
- Company application administration; Deploy, configure, integrate and test the implemented solution based on Technical and Business requirements.
- React to High Severity issues technical situation that requires immediate attention.
- Learn relevant business processes and understand the data flow, Criticality, and dependencies.
- Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, restoration, and replication.
- Support operation team by responding to operation incidents and service requests.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Science/Technology/Computers.
Years of Experience:
- 2-5 years of work experience/internship in relevant areas.
- Very Good Command of English & Arabic.
Using at least one of the following Database systems :
- Microsoft SQL SERVER
- SAP SYBASE
- MongoDB
- Knowledge of database Queries, Theory & Design
- Knowledge about the RDBMS itself, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL
- Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), e.g. SQL/PSM or Transact-SQL
- General understanding of distributed computing architectures, e.g. - Client-server model
- General understanding of the operating system, e.g. Windows or Linux
- General understanding of storage technologies and networking
