Job Description

The post- holder is responsible for the supervision and management of the student affairs and relations office and providing counseling, support and advising in regards to all student affairs aspects. Additionally, the Student Affairs Manager –SAM, monitors and manages student affairs programs events. The post-holder is responsible for planning and developing evaluation and measurement systems and tools to measure students’ level of satisfaction and engagement. The Student Affairs Manager is responsible for handling students’ requirements, complains, inquiries and suggestions. The post-Holder supervises staff in the department and ensures effective implementation of the university Academic policies and quality standards.

The Student Affairs Manager’s Job description is divided into four main areas of responsibilities.

  • Students Counselling and Pastoral Support
  • Coordination, documentation, and Reporting
  • Coaching and People Management
  • Coverage

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of Business Administration or related discipline
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent command of English language skills
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team across both the education and service sectors
  • Excellent Business writing skills
  • Excellent command of using Microsoft package “PowerPoint, Word, and Excel”
  • Good Administration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Prominent Leadership Skills
  • Excellent level of customer service skills
