Job Description

The Testing Program Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration and processing of AMIDEAST’s testing programs. The Program Specialist will support the SAT and the Local Registration Programs, with particular focus on the SAT administration; arrange logistics related to training sessions; contact observers and proctors, tracks documents and forms and update databases; complete reporting documentation; consistently ensure that that testing quality and security standards are being met; and serves as a backup test center administrator (once certified). The Program Specialist will interact with test-taking clients in a professional and positive manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assists in responding to SAT and local registration inquiries.
  • Enters client data on required forms and communicates with ETS regarding these exams administrations, sending registration forms and preparing SAT admissions tickets for distribution.
  • Verifies accurately SAT testing materials upon their receipt before and after the test administration and maintains test security and integrity at all times.
  • Assists in handling the SAT test centers requests before the exam, on the day of the exam and after the exam.
  • Prepares the Test Center Observers files prior to the SAT exam.
  • Assists in responding to SAT inquiries received from Test Center Observers on the day of the exam.
  • Assists in responding to Test Center Supervisors calls on the day of the exam.
  • Observes SAT testing centers to ensure that they meet the College Board requirements when requested.
  • Assists in the revision of the Test Center Observers evaluation reports.
  • Prepares score reports for SAT exams, within set timeframes and starts the data entry of the SAT DI score reports.
  • Records and prepares accurately monthly statistics necessary for business process improvement.
  • Provides backup support for Testing Unit Representatives during peak hours, shifts and staff absence.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work in afternoons/evenings, when requested and as needed.
  • Research customer issues and concerns and respond where needed
  • Handles all escalated calls in a professional and positive manner
  • Assist and participate in fairs to promote testing products.
  • Verifies accurately SAT scores received with those listed on the Testing SharePoint
  • Maintains forms related to test administrations such as Feedback Surveys, Supervisor’s Report Forms, Seating Charts, and Violation and Irregularity Reports.
  • Registers client applications to the local registrations service.
  • Acts upon need as a Prometric Test Center Administrator and implements Prometric Test Center rules and regulation and the testing client standards.
  • Acts upon need as an ITP/TOEIC proctor and implements ETS test regulations.
  • In all activities, takes all required security precautions according to set rules and regulations to maintain test and score security.
  • Records and prepares accurate monthly statistics for registrations and scores.
  • Answers testing inquiries and provide information about various testing programs to candidates.
  • Assists with and participates in fairs to promote testing products.
  • Researches customer issues and concerns and provides solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations, and follows up on candidate issues with HQ and ETS as needed
  • Provides backup support for Testing Unit staff during peak hours and staff absence.
  • Maintains the testing filling system.
  • Other assigned duties upon need.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline
  • Excellent English and Arabic oral and written communication skills
  • Precise attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be willing to work in afternoons/evenings, when requested.
  • The candidate will be required to take the Prometric certification and pass a certification exam to become a certified test center administrator
  • Ability to correspondence with clients
  • Ability to work within a team environment;
  • Able to maintain professional demeanor and appearance.

Preferred:

  • More than two years of work experience
  • Work experience in testing, customer service, or marketing
  • TOEIC Score with minimum of 700 or C1 equivalent
