Job Description
- Develop and review bills of material (BOM).
- Analyze changing material demand patterns.
- Plan material to attain company metrics like turns and customer fill rate.
- Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements for production schedules
- Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
- Can standardize and optimize the flow of materials by applying workflow methodologies (e.g Kanban)
- Work to improve delivery times, cost and quality of materials from suppliers.
- Determine, research, and correct material inventory discrepancy causes.
- Coordinate with operations and purchasing to attain production goals.
- Manage PO’s through creation to delivery and receipt, including monitoring workflow to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Must have min. 2 yrs experience in material planning, procurement, and in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency working with spreadsheets, data analytics, along with the ability to communicate results
