Job Description
Purpose Of The Job
- The holder of this job shall produce and maintain financial reports and develop strategies based on extensive financial research.
Accountabilities & Duties
- Provide financial reports and provide an interpretation of financial information to managerial staff
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, and the organization’s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Conduct reviews and find solutions for cost-reduction opportunities
- Oversee operations of the Finance Department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for how those are to be met
- Responsible for the preparation of the organization’s budget
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible for forecasting cash flow positions and available funds for investment
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and provide the reasons for those variances
- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses concerning all departments of the organization
Job Requirements
- A minimum 8-10 years of experience, Experience in Non-profit organization and national societies is an added value
- University degree in a relevant field
- Sound financial management, controlling and monitoring skills;
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
