Mechanical Maintenance Shift Engineer

Maintenance & repairs operations:

• Implement planned and predictive mechanical maintenance schedules for an allocated segment during his shift.
• Carry out mechanical repairs activities effectively and efficiently.
• Takeover from the previous shift the mechanical maintenance updates and repairs work and complete them.
• Deliver on plant up time and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance.
• Adopt a cost-conscious approach to utilization of approved resources including maintenance tools, equipment, spare parts and manpower.
• Establish effective co-ordination with internal client to ensure harmonization of activities.

Machinery & equipment:

• Check and calibrate machinery and equipment after performing mechanical maintenance works to make sure they are accurate according to standards of quality.
• Respond to equipment faults and attend mechanical breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimized.
• Mange any emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs appear in his shift to and ensure smooth run of all equipment and machinery.

Maintenance Technical Support:

• Allocate team of mechanical maintenance technicians and monitor work progress in an allocated segment in the shift to ensure that all maintenance and repairs related activities are completed on time.
• Providing technical support to mechanical maintenance technicians and diagnose and troubleshoot major and complex problems.
