IT Infrastructure Section Head - Hurghada

• Establishes VPN, LAN, WAN and DMZ specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
• Designs router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Continually improves the networks by monitoring and evaluating network performance issues including availability and utilization.
• Plans installation and testing of new network devices.
• Secures Network by creating Network policies and procedures.
• Works as second line support for Network Support and service Desk.
• Works closely with operations engineer to enhance network and systems performance.
• Conducts routine system audits and health check.
• Documents current infrastructure and create documentation for new setup.
• Ensures Network availability by following high availability standards.
• Maintains technical reference for communications with vendors.
• Maintains inventory of current network hardware and firmware versions.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of configurations, standards and vendor activities.

Expected Deliverables:

• Managing, administering, supporting and maintaining all the bay connectivity; fibre cables, WiFi/WiMax, CCTV and all related equipment
• Managing, administering, supporting and maintaining new operation/infrastructure projects; data centres, servers, switches, electronic gates, access control, etc.
• Managing, administering, supporting and maintaining all VOIP new projects and equipment (Cisco Call Manager, Polycom devices, etc..)
• Implementing new projects, wired and wireless using the latest available technologies.
