Reporting to CEO
Job Objective
Account Director is primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients. As a senior point of contact for an agency’s customers, the Account Director also co-ordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work.
Job Functions:
- Developing effective strategies for each of your clients following the company’s standard strategy outline and ensuring strategies are strategic, creative and innovative
- Ensuring your team is developing content in line with the approved client strategies.
- Meeting each one of your clients at least once per month & working towards maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- Reviewing KPIs vs Achieved for each of your clients on a monthly basis.
- Reviewing the monthly client reports your teams prepare.
- Regularly initiating new highly strategic, innovative & creative campaign ideas for clients.
- Approving all quarterly client activation plans & suggested campaign ideas.
- Ensuring all your team members are highly engaged with internal communications including regular reporting.
- Working on new client pitches & presenting them.
- Regularly ensuring media spend is being managed accurately across each account
- Regularly enhancing the agency’s service offerings
- Regularly enhancing the internal working environment
Job Requirements
Account Director must be truly passionate about digital marketing and social media in specific, must be willing and eager to go the extra mile to stand out in the market place and maintain excellent relationships with our clients.
Account Director needs to have the following experience
- 7 too 10 years of work experience
- Minimum 4 years in digital marketing with a strong focus on social media
- Have successfully developed & implemented multiple social media strategies
- Have personally worked on multiple client accounts, at least 10 different accounts, ideally across multiple industries
- Have personally developed social media content and managed accounts
- Have personally developed and executed multiple successful social media campaigns and activation including on-ground elements
- Have managed production of multiple social media videos
- Have worked closely with creative teams and managed their own team of Account Executives
- Have at least 6 years of agency experience
- Very Good - Excellent Command of English
