Job Description
- Develop data pipelines to extract data from data sources (basically from MTS operational database),
- cleanse, transform (ECTL) these data to populate MTS staging and data warehouse databases.
- Develop timely data dictionary documentations about developed ECTL scripts (or applications).
- Develop test scripts to validate the correctness of the developed ECTL scripts.
- Maintain MTS data warehouse and data marts.
- Reports directly to BI department manager.
- Supervise the subordinate data engineer.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field from a recognized national or international university
- Solid understanding of BI design aspects and tools especially star schema, ETL tools.
- Good practical experience in relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Experience in MS SQL database is a plus.
- Good practical development experience in data extraction applications and scripts using SQL language.
- Good supervision and communication skills.
- Work Experience 2+ years in the field of information and business intelligence systems.
