Job Description

  • Oversee and evaluate the employee’s achievement and productivity according to the department plan.
  • Assist with the general manager and assume responsibilities and tasks
  • Making strategies, concepts, and goals for the department.
  • Keeping an eye on workers safety and operation safety according to industrial safety rules.
  • Develop the plantation plans including all operations (propagation, watering, fertilization, etc).
  • Detect the needed requirements for the nursery including tools and equipments.
  • Solve any problem occur during operating process to insure doing work smoothly.
  • Follow up the renovation of licenses either CAIRO GOVERNORATE- MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE- MINISTRY OF IRRIGATION AND WATER RESOURCES.
  • Coordinate with the police department about the rules and letters and any problem about licenses or Nile law.
  • Coordinate with the financial department about annual budget, expenses and income.
  • Price comparison for all bought items either plants or equipments to achieve the equation of the best price for the highest quality.
  • Manage the buying operations to its end.
  • Landscape designs for all plantation areas with all its details (electrical plans- irrigation plans- landscape plans- softscape plans- bill of quantities- work specifications, etc)
  • Detect suitable locations for plants regarding area and plant requirements.
  • Develop maintenance processes for plants and planted areas according to its technical needs
  • Keeping an eye on the achievement of maintenance process.

Job Requirements

Qualification: -

  • Experienced with plant identification, varieties, plant propagation, techniques, fertilization, irrigation, and all nursery operations.
  • University degree,faculty of Agriculture. excellent written and verbal English language
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Application
  • Knowledge about techniques for growing wide variety of native plants including a working knowledge of organic pest management
  • Knowledge of plant and animal organisms, Knowledge of plant material.
  • Strong communication skills with all the governmental departments responsible for nursery licensing.
