- Maintains control of the design process to ensure manageable workload and management of team expectations
- Delivers high-quality creative work which is on brief and within deadline
- Communicates project status at regular points, identifies roadblocks and flags them to key team members, and proactively comes up with problem solving solutions
KEY DIMENSIONS:
Main Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading the design process and ensuring completion of deliverables on time and according to set deadlines. This may include managing multiple projects at once.
- Responsible for digital video, social graphics, marketing campaigns, show branding, marketing collateral, sponsor and partner artwork, as well as coming up with out-of-the-box creative ideas for the shows.
- Responsible for ensuring all branding is correct across all creative activity.
CREATIVITY
- Use various design software to fulfil design needs, from inception to production according to business needs and within deadlines.
- Ideate and develop the creative look and feel for all brand campaigns, which works across multiple platforms and media formats.
- Understand and use typographic principals.
- Keep abreast of design trends regionally, globally and within the market.
- Maintain and develop brand books for consumer shows to record all collateral produced for each event edition and brand.
- Proactively research campaign ideas for marketers, including digital campaign designs that deliver results, utilising marketing research platforms.
PERFORMANCE
- Ensure that all designs and material produced meets desired quality standards and specifications.
- Keep up-to-date with design software and technology.
- Follow design briefing process, communicate status of projects, and advise team on best practice solutions to design challenges.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects at once.
- Consistently deliver high standards regardless of project size/scope.
- Listen and action feedback from team members and use it to improve.
TEAM WORK
- Work as part of a team in order to support the execution of campaigns and projects as required.
- Communicate with team members to understand requirements and create design solutions accordingly.
- Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Educated to secondary standard (GCE ‘O’ Level/GCSE) or equivalent.
BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Proficient in the use of graphic design software packages, including but not limited to, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, Photoshop.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Understanding of print production.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Desire to be a part of a global organisation.
- Understanding of brands, brand development.
- Experience in storyboarding, videography, editing, post production, as well as Facebook Live.
- Knowledge and understanding of the movies, film, tv, gaming, and comic book space.
Desirable
- Arabic language skills.
