Job Description
KEY DIMENSIONS:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Quality & Maintenance
- Review and execute deduplication or merging of customer and organisation profiles in the DQ system
- Perform data manipulation, data cleansing, data analysis, and data anomalies detection on external data that will be uploaded to the MDM system, including coding of SICs, job functions and interests
- Perform manual resolutions and updates of customer data while resolving duplicate records and data discrepancies
- Work within processes, policies, procedures and standards, and achieve the targets and key metrics defined by the Head of Global Data Service Operations
- Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for data-related queries
- Work autonomously and apply judgment and decision making when executing duplication identification and resolution, and handling new data requests, changes, and deletions
- Perform spot checks for quality and consistency of data entering the system from the various sources
Administration and Reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve data management practices to drive efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy and quality and share these with the team leadership
- Perform general administrative duties to support the operation of the team and department.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Educated to secondary education level or equivalent
BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Possesses an analytical aptitude and the ability to work with and interpret data
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and data platforms
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while executing data manipulation, preparation, upload, and validation
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a commercial environment
Desirable
- Relevant Industry knowledge
- Demonstrable understanding of customer databases, data quality processes and procedures to support the marketing requirements of the business
- Understanding of data privacy regulations
- Able to work with simple SQL queries and technical documentation
- Written / spoken Arabic
