Job Description
- Design and lead research & testing strategy including contextual discovery, experience/empathy mapping, user reviews, early stage concept and prototype testing, and contextual usability and accessibility testing.
- Design user research activities to support the design, development and continuous improvement/additions/removal of features from the digital channels (Mobile App, Web and Live Chat)
- Lead the design and execution of qualitative, light quantitative, and mixed-methods research studies and testing as surveys, concept testing, usability studies, and card sorting.
- Develop longitudinal research plans to continuously monitor design features across all B.TECH products.
- Ensure quality of research, implemented methodologies, and drive improvements in practice.
- Review and provide feedback on research project plans and research deliverables.
- Develop, through research dashboards and reports, forecasts, surveys, and presentation findings.
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and deliver them in compelling ways
- Work with the UI/UX team and other stakeholders to analyze findings and deliver innovative, actionable insights.
- Involve designers and product managers and executives in the research process to marry data across all relevant sources to develop a complete picture of customer and business opportunities.
- Collaborate on UX design research insights and UT findings with marketing, product management and product design.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and how to effectively incorporate them into design
- Build and manage a list of beta users to test new platform features and functionality
- Evangelize research results and influence leadership with a persuasive, data-driven stance on difficult user experience and business issues
- 15. Practice and help evolve the team’s research techniques and toolset to work effectively within a rapid product development cadence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- 5-8 years of experience
- Mastering generative, evaluative, and wide variety of qualitative research methods.
- Proven experience in leading or user research/insights teams of medium to complex products/projects
