Accounting Manager VACANCY:

We are looking for a professional Accounting Manager that will analyze every day accounting activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to Finance Head and management team on plans as per the following details:

  • Designation: Accounting Manager
  • Job Grade: H07/H09 Band
  • Reporting to: Finance Manager
  • Location: Nasr City, Cairo.

Job Purpose:

To monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. In addition, you will be establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.

A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
  • Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports
  • Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues
  • Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls
  • Comply with legal and statutory regulations (handling of taxation e.g. income tax, VAT, etc) by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the timely and informative accumulation, adjustment, and reporting of financial data
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Month and end-year process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Payroll and utilities
  • Treasury, budgeting
  • Cash forecasting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Debt activity

Job Requirements

B. Job Requirements:

1.Qualification/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Education : Graduate of Accounting/Commerce
  • Experience :Two to four years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred
  • Professional Qualification : Sound professional qualification like CPA, CMA, MBA, etc is desired
  • IT Literacy :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with look-ups and pivot tables
  • Expert in SAP
  • Language :
  • English Proficiency both verbal and writing
