Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day management of healthcare facilities.
- Gather and analyze data, using it to plan and manage both projects and systems of health services.
- Manage clinical, professional, clerical and administrative staff of health facilities.
- Plan and implement strategic changes to improve service delivery
- Manage the recruitment, selection, appraisal and development of staff
- Work towards ensuring quality and value for money for patients
- Attend meetings, write reports and deliver presentations of health services to the Health and Care coordinator.
- Ensure that health facilities are up to date on and compliant with laws and regulations
- Providing a first referral level for technical questions arising from stakeholders at the operational level and re-directing these to the health and care department for further assistance as needed.
- Promoting and coordinating the development and integration of health services in disaster management and health in an emergency.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in medicine or other paramedical studies. Desirable specialization in Family Medicine or a degree in Public Health.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Medical referent in the humanitarian sector.
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel, and internet)
- Strong experience with monitoring tools and systems.
- Demonstrate experience with different donors’ compliance and reporting
- Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards, and best practices
- Experience of training and capacity building.
- Ability to write clear and well-argued.
- Previous experience of managing a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities, deadlines and tasks with attention to details.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Arabic is an asset.
