Job Description

  • The individual in this position is responsible for managing Customer project orders, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of customer projects
  • The individual in this position confirms customer requirements which includes drawings, specifications, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions.
  • Develops a project schedule and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Monitor the execution of the customer's project order verifying execution of the project through kick-off meetings, communication to all parties and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information. (Project Execution).
  • Lead and monitor and control of the performance of the customer's project through its lifecycle. Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, managing the exchange of project updates across the project team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration. (Monitor and Control Project Work).
  • Solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationships.
  • Identify the encountered risks and able to provide the best solutions to mitigate the risks
  • Support Tender Engineers during the negotiation stage with the customers, upon demand.
  • Manage the drawing approvals & contract modifications, with support of design Engineer
  • Plan all actions & follow up of quality of execution, contracts deliveries, customer inspections, invoicing and commitments.
  • Prepare all documents necessary for the follow up of projects activities (reports, invoicing, planning and management of information etc.)
  • Close the job, achieving targeted milestone completion, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Electrical Distribution
  • Familiar with IEC standards applicable to, low voltage switchgear, familiar with Electrical Utilities specifications and requirements.
  • Must have at least 3 years Experience in Project Management /Contracting / Execution of MV / LV Equipment and Packages.
  • The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment
  • Standard business application software experience to include MS Office
  • Ability to handle multiple projects using strong time management skills and prioritizing work
