Job Description
- Creates technical conditions such that the production process is disrupted as little as possible.
- Does this by identifying production problems regarding performance, efficiency and quality, and improving and making the production manageable, through the consultation of senior colleagues.
- Is involved in the implementation of new products and processes. In the preliminary phase including through transfer of technical aspects in the implementation phase by creating the organizational conditions.
- Provides support to team at startup in production through technical support and guidance, so that the production process is improved.
- Keeps the requirements of content up to date and initiates preparation of missing rules through amendments, among others.
- Performs, as an experienced engineering assistant, non-repetitive assignments that are mostly stated in general terms and that require own interpretation and some consultation from (senior) colleagues involved.
- Gathers additional information and chooses from different possibilities HOW to best carry out the assignment, adapting known solutions based on experience and basic analysis.
- Operates pretty autonomously within existing procedures, methods and techniques that however, are not fully sufficient to give direction on critical points.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors of Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- 0-1 years of experience in Manufacturing or in a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Has developed proficiency through education, specialized training and considerable experience.
- Specialized knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization to contribute to the optimization of relevant processes.
- Completes work with limited autonomy.
- Operates within partly standardized ways of working and procedures with intermediate supervision regarding results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
- SAP knowledge is a plus
