About the Job

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to implement automation and workflow improvements to efficiently protect our users;
  • Provide a high-quality experience to our users by ensuring the product is accurate, up to date, and compliant with defined quality standards;
  • Develop and share quality best practices and help the Product team to deliver on time;
  • Respond to Marketing and Operation and Sales sensitive escalations
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Quality and Operations teams to create and improve processes to help Jumia Travel grow
  • Work on innovative scalable solutions that are efficient and effective;
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering/scientific domain or related
  • Willingness to travel to occasionally Europe and African countries (up to 10% of working hours)
  • Passion for web technologies;
  • Ability to collaborate globally and work cross-functionally with other teams;
  • Analytical approach;
  • Detail-oriented mindset;
  • Fluent in English.
  • Previous experience in project management or e-commerce is preferable
  • Experience in software development agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is preferable
