Job Description

  • Finding out new raw materials (New vendor development).

  • Monitor returns paint work off.
  • Supporting technical support department technically.
  • Supplier meeting
  • Consumption of NCP product
  • Troubleshooting in production issues and process
  • Monitor customer compliant analysis.
  • Non-moving RM consumption.
  • Cost reduction
  • Train to the new engineers and implement knowledge transfer programs.
  • Products Third Party Certification.
  • Participation in international exhibitions.
  • Customer visit (overview and technology presentation)
  • Attending supplier training globally (new product/process technology).
  • Support R&D Director in setting and evaluating department KPIs.
  • SWAT analysis of the Department & Resource planning (recruit, motivate, organize training and manage new staff)

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering/Paints Technology.
  • Master’s Degree Chemistry / Chemical Engineering preferred.

Experience

      • Minimum 13+ years’ experience in R&D function.
      • Must have previous experience in Paints & Coating.
      • Proven ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and strong management and negotiation skills.
      • Excellent ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Technical Skills

      • Highly organized and structured

Comprehensive knowledge of Paints technology.

        • Strong technical writing skills (procedures, protocols, and reports).
        • Advanced level of English.
        • Advanced MS office skills.
