Job Description

  • Coordinate with the program manager (PM) to oversee day-to-day progress toward project goals and desired programmatic outcomes.
  • Draft sections of quarterly, annual, and final reporting to donors, including follow-up with staff for additional details.
  • Create concise and well written narratives on results of program activities. Identify reporting gaps and work with team members to fill.
  • Contribute to collecting reporting and learning data by interviewing participants and stakeholders, observing activities, conducting desk research, facilitating staff reflections, reviewing program files
  • Assist in preparing and designing documents, including reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Provide technical support to the branches coordinator in identifying challenges and collecting information, reviewing and maintain systems for recording program activities and outputs.
  • Provide relevant materials, case studies, photographs, events and media contacts in line with ERC organizational profile in coordination with ERC Media and commutation department.
  • Support the PM as required in the planning and implementation of program activities, research and events within the program area.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; expressing complex and technical terminology and concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Plan and carry out trainings, facilitate capacity building activities and maintains a positive learning environment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as but not limited to social studies, development studies, peace studies, political science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in civil society or educational program or developmental program.
  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools and systems.
  • Demonstrate experience with different donors’ compliance and reporting
  • Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards and best practices
  • Experience of training and capacity building.
  • Ability to write clear and well-argued.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities, deadlines and tasks with attention to details.
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Arabic is an asset.
