Courier Operations Manager - Uber Eats (Saudi Arabia)

As the Courier Operations Manager for Uber Eats in Riyadh, you will have the unique opportunity to scale and develop our food delivery platform in one of our high-potential regions. Balancing the needs of the consumer, the restaurants and the delivery partners is very complex. Add to that the fact that we’re delivering a perishable product on demand and at massive scale and you have a really fascinating set of challenges to navigate. But food is also fun, and Saudis are passionate about eating great food, so you get to operate in a world that consumers love!

We're looking for someone who has a mix of operational prowess and innovative/creative thinking that's required to develop outside the box solutions, and the emotional intelligence required to work with courier, fleet partners and cross-functional stakeholders.

We need an excellent executor/operator. This is the ideal role for someone who has experience building out processes, who's obsessed with tinkering and iterating to obtain operational excellence and ‘Uber’ quality throughout the customer's experience. This is where creativity meets analytics and execution head on.

What You’ll Do

• Develop & Optimize Processes: You will scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow
• Supply Growth: You will own our supply strategy and will help balance supply to ensure we are the most reliable food delivery service in town
• Run analysis & experiments across the country: we need to be creative and implement new solutions to improve quality without sacrificing cost and sentiment
• Develop analytical frameworks and reporting to support the company in business decision-making, including the development of engagement programs to improve courier quality & engagement
• Identify operational weaknesses in the delivery experience and help improve processes to increase courier and customer experience
• Collaborate with others from operations as well as marketing, product, legal, etc. to create insights that inform broader strategic initiatives
• Develop processes to ensure regulatory compliance: work with internal and external stakeholders to understand local regulations, and develop/implement processes to ensure we meet them.
• Hustle: Take ownership of Uber Eats' growth in your city, and do whatever it takes to get the job done
