Job Description

  • Manage and support SHEQ initiatives and objectives.
  • Define, propose and implement the annual production plan as per productivity targets.
  • Cost management of products and assist with new product costings models.
  • Analyze budgets and continuously control production costs and identify/rectify waste measures.
  • Manage all activities within the production process, including maintenance and the workforce.
  • Handle logistics, warehousing and stock of raw materials used in production.
  • Manage all teams within your production department.
  • Create and implement organizational/production changes on an operative level.
  • Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to product/production line to help entering new markets or grow existing territories.
  • Work with the team (Local and export) to plan, schedule and perform production activities.
  • Assign daily workload to team members.
  • Develop production program and guidelines to support company objectives.
  • Schedule equipment maintenance and inspection on regular basis.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity.
  • Organize job training to team members to achieve production goals.
  • Investigate production issues and develop resolutions.
  • Develop project budget and maintain expenses within the budget.
  • Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities.
  • Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements;

  • BA in Industrial Engineering/ Agricultural
  • Knowledge in food safety is a must; GFSI, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000
  • Minimum Years of Experience;
  • 8 years’ experience in manufacturing operations
  • Experience in frozen Vegetables is a Must
