Job Description
- Responsible for managing, monitoring and advancing all HR and admin functions covering a wide scope of responsibilities to ensure the department is functioning in a timely and professional manner in line with the companies strategic vision.
- Resourcing and Recruitment - directing the resourcing and recruitment selection process including proper manpower planning.
- Corporate Governance - formulating and implementing policies and procedures related to the discipline of HR and Admin.
- Compensation and Benefits with an eye on Employee Retention including but not limited to:
- Directing the payroll process.
- Defining a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals.
- Analyzing and modifying compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure salaries are within the market rate.
- Revise Grading, Salary and Benefits system accordingly.
- Ensure benefits such as private medical insurance is updated.
- Ensured compensation and benefits are within the company’s grading structure.
- Issue various cost reports related to HR resources are issued.
- Employee Performance and Development Management (Appraisals, Training and Development) including but not limited to:
- Working closely with department heads to identify the training and development needs of employees in accordance with yearly Training Plan.
- Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses.
- Employee Relations Management including but not limited to:
- Ensuring that employees are treated in an ethical, fair and just manner.
- Ensuring the Egyptian Labor Law is abided to.
- Keeping up to date with current employment legislation, and ensure line managers are briefed on any changes where appropriate.
- Involved in recreation events for employees.
- Liaising with HSE department to ensure employee health and safety is protected.
- Problem-solving in an efficient manner; deal with grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Grievances and Disciplinary Matters
- HR Personnel Administration including but not limited to:
- Maintaining employee details database
- Probation
- Promotions
- Salary Reviews
- Internal Employee Transfers
- Design and Conduct Orientation and Induction programs for new joiners.
- Conducting exit interviews to identify reasons for employee turnover.
- Process terminations, redundancies and resignations.
- Issuing employment certification letters.
- Issuing various reports.
- Maintaining records and compiling statistical reports concerning HR and Administration.
- To supervise and ensure all admin related functions are on track as per company procedure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in business administration/political science.
- Diploma in HR is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of the Egyptian Labour Law.
- +10 Years of Experience Required.
