ServerHub is global bare metal public cloud and cloud application hosting service. ServerHub provides cloud services that help to deploy and scale infrastructure across 9+ regions.

We are looking for problem solvers who can think outside the box, and aren’t afraid of going the extra mile. We are in need of people who can help scale our Cloud Platform.

We are looking for Linux and DevOps Engineers to join our team that can help to design, configure, implementing and maintaining the ServerHub network & physical servers. This position interfaces directly with our data center staff and development teams to ensure our platform and features have scalable architectures and that will provide a stable infrastructure to our customers.

This is a Remote Position, with options of working at our Dallas offices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Troubleshooting Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Apache, Nginx, MySQL,
  • Communicate on current document processes and assist in improvement suggestions
  • Learn and Adapt to the ServerHub platform, and adapt to rapid changes
  • Troubleshoot issues escalated by the L1/L2 teams
  • Collaborate with management and team to improve the infrastructure
  • Create automated and scaling architecture for our cloud physical servers

Job Requirements

What We’ll Expect From You:

  • Strong background with technology and Linux systems
  • Experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concept
  • Experience with Cloud Virtualization technologies such as KVM, Xen, etc
  • Install, configure, automate, and monitor various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
  • Hands-on experience with other cloud-hosted solutions, eg. AWS, Google Compute, Azure, DigitalOcean
  • Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt

Bonus:

  • Programming/Scripting (Ruby, Python, Go, Bash, PHP)
  • Source Code Management (Git)
  • Virtualization (KVM, Xen)
  • Open Source (CoreOS, Docker, Vagrant)Experience in building, running and scaling micro-services using Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker, monitoring services like (Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic etc.) etc. is strongly preferred
