Job Description
You are responsible for
- Serving as the technical resource for implementing solutions that require analysis of situations or data, and an in-depth knowledge of the solution.
- Preparing site assessments
- Providing technical review of system configurations to ensure viability of system performance.
- Designing scope, implementing and handover-to-support integration projects within the targets (time, cost) and objectives (deliverables) set forth in the contracts
- Partnering with the Technical Support Engineers for the transfer to support, post installation.
- Identifying and presenting the project risks, budget, resources and progress to the project team
- Providing strong technical and analytical skills, while performing solution architecture and implementation for customers.
- Reviewing quotations/solutions developed for the customers for technical feasibility
- Performing or assisting in First of a Kind (FOK) installations and interface upgrades
- Understanding and keeping up to date with current integration technology
- Supporting post integration issues on site where Customer Care is unable to resolve the issues remotely
- Training key-users of the customers
- Coordinating infrastructure installation and configuration.
- Managing solution and product interoperability, as well as performing triage to resolve issues.
- Understanding the Customer workflow and environment and mitigating technical risks/contingencies.
- Acting as the single point of contact for internal infrastructure and product specific technical consultants.
- Collaborating with the business unit for escalations or performance improvement opportunities.
- Thoroughly documenting all site specific architecture and technical information
Job Requirements
- To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field) or equivalent combination of academic and work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare information technology implementation (experience in the healthcare IT industry including radiology or cardiology informatics – preferred)
- Excellent IT knowledge in networking Hardwired devices, Wireless, VPN, Hardware (e.g., routers, switches, etc.), virtualization, server hardware, Windows servers and backup solutions
- Ability to perform detailed analysis of existing and future systems design and their performance requirements
- Superb customer service skills including high-level professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex architecture
- In-depth understanding of , DICOM, HL7 and scripting
- Possess good communication, planning and presentation skills
- Hands-on and able to work independently
- Very good communication skills in English both verbal and written, additional knowledge of Arabic is preferred
- Able to travel 70% of the time within KSA
