Job Description
- Oracle Database Administration including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
- Install Oracle different products (RDBMS, RAC, Golden Gate and Data Guard).
- Implement Database Backups based in RMAN.
- Monitor the Database and implement the tuning steps periodically.
- Recover from Database wrong transactions and Disaster recovery.
- Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system
- Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance
- To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
- Responsible for providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Good Experience with Linux and Unix Based.
- Strong Oracle Database Administration experience.
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
- Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump).
