Job Description
Software Architect designs and develops software systems and applications creating software tailored to a clients’ specific needs or create products geared for consumers. He / She acts as high-level decision maker in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards.
- Facilitating planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables.
- Locating and directing resolutions for critical issues related to hardware and software interface.
- Assessing software and system issues to find solutions to them as per requirements.
- Developing working relationships with marketing and product managers, and software engineers and others.
- Coaching and mentoring one’s development team is a common requirement of the Software Architect.
- Conducting research, gather information, interpret data, and then create a solution.
Job Requirements
- Managing and monitoring Linux systems
- Previous experience in managing LDAP, Application, Database, and Monitoring systems
- Building secure systems, networks and infrastructure
- Proficiency in at least one scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl or Go)
- Has Experience in IBM Products like BPM, FileNet, App Connect is a plus
