Job Description
- Coordinating with the utilities stakeholders and preparing the minutes of meeting with them.
- Preparing the technical submittals for project Material and base design as per the EETC Standards.
- Follow up the project progress activities at the site (Excavation, sand bidding, Power cable laying, backfilling as per EETC specifications, concrete duct bank , Horizontal directional drilling ,joints and termination installation, Link Box Installation and F.O.C Pulling, Testing and Commissioning for the power cables) with the company manpower and the Client Representatives.
- Prepare the daily , weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Calculating the executed quantities and submitting the progress invoices.
- Coordination with the electrical and civil materials manufacturers to fabricate and supply the materials as per the project submittals approvals.
- Writing the project's letters which submitted to all the concerned parties.
- Preparing and submitting the as built drawings.
- Design and propose general route plan , schematic drawings and all related electrical designs for the underground cables as per the specification and standards.
- Insure that delivered materials to the site as per the approved specifications prior receiving them and coordinate with the consultant and project owner representatives for the material inspection.
- Coordinating with the utilities stakeholders and preparing the minutes of meeting with them.
- Insure that the work activities take place as per the HSE requirements and precautions.
- Following QA/QC and HSE plans and documents during the construction stage.
- Discuss the work procedures method statement for the normal and critical stages with the client representatives prior construction.
- Preparing and submitting the project execution plan schedules.
- Attend the weekly and Monthly meetings with the client and consultant engineer and share the project situation, progress, schedules and problems to meet the client satisfaction.
- Managing the site and select the suitable amount for the manpower and equipment to full fit the project progress schedules to safe the project cost and time.
- Issuing and closing Municipality excavation work permits.
- Find out the construction issues and propose the relative and alternative solutions to fix the problems immediately.
- Follow all the project’s owner instructions and comment and reflect it in the site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's of Electrical Power Engineering
- Master degree in Electrical Power Engineering
- Experience in cables field EHV & HV in a large company works in the same field.
- Experience not less than 7 years in the same field.
- Able to work under pressure for anything related to work and projects.
- Experience in Ms Office, Photoshop & Primavera.
- Has experience in carrying current capacity, studying the budget of new projects & following financial items while implementation.
- Experience in client relations, project estimation, installation and field of cables.
- Project Management Experience.
