Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan the weekly and monthly supply of finished goods to customer ensuring good quality, right quantity, timely delivery to meet service level targets while managing resource utilization and inventory cost.
- Ensure that manufacturing plants are optimizing compliance with schedules.
- Support the supply component of the IBP process; this includes leading Plant/Hub Supply Review and leading the communication and resolution of supply constraints in the country.
- Ensure timely commercialization of new products through participation in project team meetings, working with Business Development and Manufacturing teams and giving timely feedback for all supply-related concerns.
- Manage the supply planning of co-manufacturers and co-packers working alongside with Procurement and CS&L of country.
- Execute the defined inventory management strategies for finished goods, raw, packaging and WIP. This includes maximum and minimum targets for the country and per plant and/or co-manufacturers.
- Manage transition SKUs and ageing inventory, working with the Category and CS&L teams to minimize clearance costs and ensure smooth phase-in/phase-out of stocks.
- Monitor KPIs, provide root cause analysis and corrective action to improve operations and achieve targets.
Job Requirements
- University degree.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.
- Proficiency in MS office, especially PowerPoint & excel.
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of work experience in supply chain.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, replenishment.
- Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
- Experience in leading key project development and execution.
- Decision Quality: Make good decisions based on analysis, facts, wisdom and experience even under the time pressure.
- Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills; can manage group process during the presentation, can change tactics midstream when something isn't working.
