Job Description
- Sources all the needed Local/Imported Packaging and Raw Materials for implemented projects as well as New Initiatives in all categories.
- Monitors Products CIU/P&L for New Initiated Projects to ensure that the price of Materials used are within the acceptable cost objective.
- Handles requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
- Implements plans to assure orders meet specified quality and delivery times.
- Negotiates prices, delivery and payment terms for spot orders.
- Concludes annual and semi-annual contracts for local and imported Raw/ Packaging Materials to ensure availability and minimize the total cost of purchases.
- Ensures the presence of Alternative plans to local and Imported Purchased Packaging/Raw Materials.
- Develops and implements procedures for contract management in compliance with company policy.
- Establishes annual reports regarding cost saving projects.
- Establishes monthly packaging material and seasonal raw material reports following the market price levels.
- Monitors currencies, raw materials price changes over a specified period.
- Introduces the latest trends of Raw Materials and Packaging ideas aligning with the company’s vision and policy.
- Arranges quarter audit trips to local and foreign suppliers to ensure that production capacities and quality measures are followed in line with the needs of the company.
- Visits Sales plans quarterly to ensure they are in line with the company’s purchases.
- Establishes quarter material cost plans for sales of scrap materials.
Job Requirements
Education: BSc Economics, BA or Management.
Experience : minimum of 6 years in the same field
languages: Very Good in English
Computer Proficiency: MS office - Internet browsing - Special software
Preferred skills: Negotiations, Analytical and Results focused skills.
