Job Description
- The Pre-Sales Engineer supports sales productivity and deal flow.
- Responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported.
- Use the latest GIS technologies to analyze and interpret site features.
- Manage all technical aspects of the pre- and post-sales process for our key customers.
- Responsible for guiding them through the evaluation and integration of Geomatex’ technologies in their application.
- Document and analyze required information and data related the solutions road map features.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information.
- Targeting the customer’s specific technical needs, offers on-site
- integration assistance, perform demonstrations and help in performance testing with the purpose of defining the optimal solution based on Geomatex’ products.
- Cooperate with our sales team and you will have frequent contact with our technical specialists and product managers.
- As part of Geomatex you take ownership of technical issues reported by customers and follow through to resolution in a timely and accurate manner.
- In addition, you will support established customers with training and other activities which enable the optimum use of our products in the field.
- Develop and conduct presentations and proof of concept demonstrations for potential customers in coordination with the sales account management team.
- Translate clients’ needs and requirements into customized solutions and collaborative efforts and specialties either hardware or software to come up with one whole integrated solution.
- Develop competitive technical offers and proposals with a well-defined scope of work to potential customers.
- Closely work with a Product Manager to report work progress and consult her/ him on technical issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of education in Engineering
- Major: Survey
- Experience: 0-5 years
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Positive, service-oriented personality
- Willingness to travel if required
- Excellent Knowledge in Laser Scanning-Photographer-Remote Sensing-Geographical Information System (GIS)-Cartography-Computer Aided Drawing (CAD).
