Job Description
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Manage activities related to strategic purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing & free zone activities.
- Develop and Implement new or improved supply chain policies and processes.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
- Define performance metrics for measuring, comparing, or evaluating supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Finalize prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, discuss production forecasts and changes, and also finalize contracts with them.
- Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure the availability of materials or products.
- Monitor supply chain forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
Job Requirements
- Appropriate university degree/prefer in Engineering.
- A master degree/professional diploma in the field of Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fully proficient in the English language written and spoken
