Job Description
- Gobites is on the search for a sales professional to Lead the sales team; to develop growth in a strong area for the business and launch our new products into Egyptian retail markets.
- You will be responsible to laydown strategy for growing and maximizing sales within retail and wholesale across Egypt.
- The role will involve autonomously managing your own portfolio of customers, driving revenue and supporting the team on activity with our key distributors.
- With a new product launching there will be lots of emphasis on new business and finding revenue streams that will support the growth of the brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create database of wholesale & retail networks and approach relevant key end customers.
- Build comprehensive distribution network to ensure Gobites products have coverage in all regions and sectors in the Egyptian market.
- Hire & Develop the Field Sales team to execute key sales initiatives.
- Follow up on execution and delivery of sales targets.
- Organize sales and marketing initiatives with key end customers.
- Building and developing relationships with Modern Trade and unconventional distribution channels.
- Research incremental opportunities in the market and pitch to the team to pursue.
- Developing tactical strategies to increase distribution and maximize promotions.
- Working with our marketing team to bring the brand to life in-store through point of sale materials and creative, eye catching displays.
- Working with our wholesalers to execute target customer lists and make sure Gobites is always front-of-mind.
- Work closely with distributors to maintain sales targets and expanding plans according to sales forecast

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - A rough diamond - This role will involve a lot of learning curves and requires you to be switched on, fully engaged, eager to learn and be flexible.
- Be an excellent communicator and enjoy forming relationships with end customers.
- Have an interest for the entrepreneurial and food start-up industry.
- Interested in how brands grow - You should be able to demonstrate a real interest and awareness of how brands grow, stay youthful and engage with the world.
