Job Description
- Responsible for preparing most competitive Techno-Commercial Proposals in compliance with the client’s requirement / technical specifications
- Follows all relevant Tendering/Proposals and organization policies & procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own jobs to ensure continuity of work
- Preparing Techno-Commercial Bids/ Offers
- Preliminary study of the inquiry and the basic scope of supply & concept of system
- Understand client’s requirement and basis for the system design and selection
- Detailed study of relevant MR documents like (Technical specifications, Scope of supply, Exclusion, Process datasheets, P&ID’s, PFD, plot plan, testing and documentation requirements)
- Planning, organizing& time management to submit techno-commercial offer to sales dept as per the offer submission schedule
- Process Design/ Mass Balance/ Equipment Parameter
- Sub-supplier correspondences and sourcing
- Sending inquires of major critical components/ items to sub-vendors (according to Client’s approved vendor list )Internet web search -to get detail information in order to meet client’s requirement / to search the new supplier for critical items.
- Obtain offers from sub-vendors within the shortest span of time
- Technical & commercial evaluation of sub-suppliers offers for the major critical components/ items to ensure that the received offer is in compliance with client’s specification & process requirement
- Detailed cost estimation
- Cost estimation of the system, ensuring all items are covered in the costing part
- Cost estimation of overheads, services/ manpower required to execute the offered system/ project
- Preparation of detailed technical & commercial offer along with compliance/ deviation statement
- Prepare technical offer including deviations/ clarification/ important notes, scope of supply & work, equipment specifications & exclusions.
- Prepare commercial offer including price break down & optional prices as per the client’s requirement along with payment terms & conditions, delivery schedule, domestic/ foreign field service policy & other necessary like performance/ equipment warranty,offer validity & confidentiality agreement
- Prepare dully filled compliance statement, quotation request check list (as per client’s requirement)
- Review the project with the Proposals & Marketing director for comments and approval Submit the Techno-Commercial offer to the Sales Executives
- Techno & commercial clarification with the client (after evaluation by client)
- Reply to the Technical Queries (TQ) that is raised by the client.
- Provide all necessary information/ documents to the client to get the technical approval on Company offer
- Attain technical meeting with the clients Prepare revised techno-commercial offer in line with the all till date correspondence (all TQ Reply) with client
- Attend technical meeting/ conference calls with clients.
- Post Order Correspondence with Internal team members
- Prepare handover report for the awarded project
- Prepare rationalized internal proposal including all updated correspondences with the client & sub-supplier
- Prepare detailed and squeezed rationalized estimation sheet
- Handover of the rationalized internal proposal, handover report & rationalized estimation sheet to the project team for further execution of the awarded project
- Attend project kick-off meetings
- Assist the project & procurement team during the execution of the project
- Update the proposals status/ record on regular basis
- Prepare the database of sub-supplier Quotation of each item/component
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from any Reputable University
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Access, Power Point)
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
