Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for full administration duties of deploying, troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and maintaining physical and VMware virtual computing of Linux Red Hat/Debian/Ubuntu servers in local/cloud/remote environments.
- Design, implement and support highly-performance, highly-available infrastructure.
- Identifies and resolves problems associated with server hardware/software.
- Ability to install, configure, customize, and support typical Linux services, including SFTP, NFS, BIND, Apache, Samba, Nginx and MySQL.
- Solid experience with LDAP and Mail systems (experience with Postfix required).
- Automation knowledge with Bash scripting or other scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc..).
- Planning, Implementing, monitoring of backups, disaster plans, fault tolerance.
- In-depth knowledge of network and web services including HTTPs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
- Ability to configure and manage clustered Linux systems.
- Understanding of IPtables firewall.
- Direct and support the implementation of software and hardware upgrades and identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety.
- Generate, renew, and install SSL/TLS certificates in various services and applications.
Job Requirements
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification is a must.
- Strong Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificates.
- Able to diagnose hardware and software faults.
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills with a logical, methodical approach.
- Strong technical and data management skills.
- Red Hat Certificate Engineer (RHCE) is a preferred, Red Hat Certificate System Administrator (RHCSA) is a must.
- Security certification RHCSS is a plus.
