About the Job

Our client is one of the biggest IP offices in the middle east & Gulf region with an office in Heliopolis - Egypt Cairo

Intellectual property – Backend administrative work

  • Understand the process for filing trademarks in all the countries serviced online
  • Understand the way the website works and handles requests from initial proposal received to forwarding of a certificate of registration
  • Reviews Models prepared by Junior team members about filing in specific countries (Class Translation, Class analysis, Information on Input Sheet)
  • Follows up on pending matters with different countries
  • Follows up with the accounting department on receipts
  • Maintains client files and WUP by making sure that country representative completed the following:
  1. Saved necessary notices on file
  2. Prepared Courier
  3. Updated WUP
  4. Maintained the database and made sure all information is updated
  • Keeps track of publications, and makes sure country representative downloads and watches official gazettes
  • Keeps track of deadlines and follows up with country representative
  • Makes sure to resolve any delays in the work caused by offices
  • Handles multiple projects in different countries
  • Ensures that tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner
  • Reviews translations done in Arabic, English and French by the country representative
  • Divides work between juniors in the department
  • Ensures that consistent and thorough support is given to the team
  • Pitches in to help out and do whatever is necessary to get the job done, not just doing the particular job function but also helping others on the team when necessary and capable
    • Hires right candidates for assistance with different country work
    • Trains and develops team to ensure consistency in service delivery
    • Ensures that consistent and thorough support is given to the team
    • Pitches in to help out and do whatever is necessary to get the job done, not just doing the particular job function but also helping others on the team when necessary
      • Ensures the site is operating properly and that all notices are updated and client is informed
      • Manages a customer service support representative

University degree

Min of 5-7 years of experience in administrative work
