Job Description
Our company is looking for a Market researcher to Collect data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits and to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand for client or employer. Carefully and thoroughly analyze data to find relevant information that’s useful, then distil this information into readable and presentable reports.
Primary Responsibilities
- Researches industries, markets, demographics, trends, sales results, and other data related to the client's products or services.
- Determine who will buy products and at what price, methods of marketing, and sales.
- Gather statistical data on competitors and create a SWOT analysis.
- Obtain data to design & conduct surveys to assess consumer preferences.
- Creates detailed reports with research findings and analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Make recommendations to the client or employer.
- Provide companies with vital information to help them make decisions on the promotion, distribution, and design of products or services.
- Establishes marketing tracking methods to help each client evaluate performance over time.
Job Requirements
- Confident individual, good with analyzing data and can rise to the challenge of communicating large amounts of information
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in internet search and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
