Job Description
- Review client requirement documents, request necessary clarifications to achieve a full understanding of customer requirements
- Prepare a design for Home Automation systems which is cost effective and meets customer requirements.
- Designs include solutions for Light Control, Distributed / Zoned Audio, Distributed Videos, Intercom, Intrusion Detection, MATV, PBX telephones system, CCTV, Access Control, Network Infrastructure (UTP / Fibre).
- Create technical proposal document according to work instructions and requirements including solution design description, statement of work, product datasheets.
- Prepare shop drawings, Single Line Diagram, Schematic Diagrams & Technical Submittals.
- Prepare pricing sheet and financial proposal including Bill of Quantities of all proposed products and their respective costs.
- Identify suppliers and technologies that meet individual client needs and engage with them to acquire quotations and technical information required to prepare customer proposal.
- Coordinate with customer appointed contractors and stakeholders and prepare any required material and shop drawing submittals after project award
- Supervise technical implementation team and manage all project implementation activities from inspection till final delivery.
- Remote and on-site programming and configuring home automation and other systems.
- Prepare final As-built shop drawings and hand over documentation
- Conduct customer training
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Good technical knowledge encompassing automation & low current systems is essential; previous experiences with lighting systems, audio-visual racks, multi-room A/V, security & digital surveillance, networks are a desirable quality.
- You must be able to use programming software and be PC literate. Part of the role will involve dealing with clients, telephone support, quality control, training & on-site supervision.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2 years of installation and programming experience in the automation space.
- Bsc in electrical or telecommunication engineering
- An aptitude to learn quickly and utilize new knowledge on client sites.
- Some management ability to delegate tasks to installers and sub-contractors on site.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
- High organizational skills and ability to manage stress and meet deadlines
- Candidates who live in 6 of October City or near are preferred.
- Candidates who own a car are preferred (compensation for car utilization is included)
