Job Description
- Arranging trucking orders, arranging the trucking process with the client after coordination with custom clearance. focus on marketing and sales result.
- Arranging trucking orders "handling the trucking process with the client and terminal"
- Contacting clients regarding the Import shipments to inform them about the arrival of their shipment and to arrange trucking and all related shipment process to prepare truck on time
- Arranging the trucking process with the client regarding the export shipment after coordination with Custom clearance.
- Maintain and increase MSC market share and customers base.
- Promote MSC brand and its values and advantage.
- Negotiate rates and contract with clients and agents.
- Plan sales visits and follow guideline to meet/exceed volume and yield targets.
- React promptly to the request received from the clients.
- Create orders through system follow all the assignments and client’s instruction.
- Maintain high level of communication and co-operation with the operation department and the customers
- Track and trace all trips through GPS.
- Ensure that the customer is fully updated on any query or issue within the agreed time.
- Investigate Customer claims and complaints and provide responses.
- Anticipate problems and implement effective solution.
- Ensure trucking rates and are accurately captured and filed within tariff management system.
- Prepare a weekly and monthly activity report that reflect the activities performed and visits feedback during the designated period.
- keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
- communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Handling Pre-carriage and ON-carriage shipments with MSC agencies worldwide. “Manifested shipments”.
- Update and modify trucking Tariff on TMS.
- Handling the allocation of containers between the Egyptian Port “Barges”.
- Handling Reefers container movement form and to MSC Depo.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 3 years experience as a sales in relevant field
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to work in a team, time management, communication and presentation skills, handling work pressure and flexibility in dealing with others.
- Ability to work under stress, to remain calm and composed when dealing with difficult situation and to handle Rush or peak work times
