Job Description
- Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by the Technical Office Department and the management team.
- Create and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Research potential vendors.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Review the quality of purchased products.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- To carry out the procurement of key subcontractors/suppliers in a timely manner within the target budget cost.
- Ensure zero variation in awarded subcontract value and final subcontract value based on baseline scope
- To prepare and submit payment applications to the client in a timely manner. Ensure certification is made and invoices raised to ensure on-time payment. Manage cash collection from the client
- To identify, prepare, submit and agree variations to the project. Maintain forecast final account values for the projects
- To control and monitor subcontractor variations, payment applications, back charges, etc. in order to maintain an accurate financial status of their accounts.
- To produce and maintain month end cost-to-date and forecast final costs in order to accurately report the project cost status as per reporting requirements.
- To produce monthly cost, value and turnover reporting as required to accurately report the company’s position and meet all contract reporting requirements.
- To ensure contract correspondence is issued in order to protect the Company’s position at all times. Protect and secure the company’s entitlement in respect of Extension of Time
Job Requirements
- Architecture bachelor degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Experience in subcontractor administration, cost control systems, method of measurement, construction industry preferred
- Ability to work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
- Good workable knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Primavera, Aconex, CAD
- Ability to read engineering drawings
