Job Description
- Define and implement the annual production plan
- Manage all activities within the production process, including maintenance and the workforce
- Create and implement organizational /production changes on an operative level
- Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to product/production line to enter new markets or grow existing territories
- Analyze budgets and continuously control production costs and identify/rectify waste measures
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Monitor production to resolve issues.
- Determine amount of necessary resources
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Job Requirements
Education and Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor ‘s degree of Engineering – Mechanical
- 10 years’ experience in manufacturing field ( 4 years from total as Manager)
- Good command of English language
- Degree/Diploma in Operations Management. (is an asset)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy skills.
- Good people management skills and management of staff
- Identifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimize risk
- Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail-oriented
- Working well with many different departments and external suppliers
- Always keeping the end-user/customer in mind
- Being results and deadline-driven.
