Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Export sales to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
  • Secure long term volume & margin by negotiating and developing tailor made agreements with assigned export customer to deliver volume and profitability agreed targets.
  • Secure customer service parameters by submitting export customers’ volume forecast as per demand forecast cycle and process to contribute to supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage accounts receivable by implementing the company credit policy to ensure level of credit exposure in line with company budget.
  • Exceeds customer expectations by implementing customer service policy and procedures, to secure long term relation and differentiate USCE from competition.
  • Gather all customers’ business information, developing and updating own section file including country profile, market segmentation, sales opportunities, activities, agreements, etc. to facilitate information retrieval and decision making.
  • Determines the strategy for the detection of the target customers, gets detailed information about customer acquisition, visits customers to achieve goals and works in parallel to marketing and sales policies and controls this process.
  • Tariffs the proposal by contacting with the customers, prepare it within the framework of the agreements and follow the process.
  • Works together with department of Finance for follow-up of receivable accounts and provides information to the relevant authorities.
  • Directs the customer demands received to the relevant units.
  • Ensures quoting and paying customer visits.
  • Manage deployment of top management strategy and link it with sales team
  • Review marketing and sales activity with team on regular bases
  • Take on Personal Responsibility in order to Solve Customer Problems
  • Takes action without delay by focusing on problem in order to solve customer problems
  • Spends extra time and makes additional effort to meet the customer satisfaction.
  • Knows customer's business well and collects information to understand the real customer needs that are not mentioned explicitly.
  • Promptly and efficiently completes work assignments.
  • Plans, prioritizes and balances work to meet commitments, goals and deadlines.
  • Suggests help in order to contribute others to achieve their goals.
  • Gains new opinions and approaches by collaborating with other people in order to help to form the particular decisions and plans.
  • Makes people feel competent and important by encouraging and delegating.
  • Sets challenging yet realistic personal goals in line with team/unit goals.
  • Develops personal work plans to structure work and achieve required result

Job Requirements

  • Shipping lines background is the most preferred Export.
  • Proven experience 8-10 Years in the logistics sales.
  • Fluent in English.
