Job Description
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
- Demonstrate live how merchandise works and can be used
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Advise customers to the solution/services or products that best meet their requirements
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure all shelves, wall units and floor units are fully stocked at all times
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new and discontinued products/services
- Support and help during stock count and inventory
- Assist in displaying merchandise and store decoration
- Keep the store tidy and clean and cleaning all display units and products
- Process card payments and cash
- Document sales by creating and updating customer profile records
- Attach and replace price tags to items on the store floor
Job Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent command of English and Arabic written and spoken and excellent communication skills.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Retail Sales
- Comes from a variety of retailers’ background experience, including Tableware, Giftware, Home Lifestyle, Furniture and Jewelry with exposure to high-end and luxury products
- Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment with knowledge of Excel and skills in POS and CRM systems.
- Previous experience in RMS is a high asset.
