Job Description

  • Responsible for leading and contributing to projects that drive revenue growth and profitability. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the General Manager of the company and be responsible for the development and management of broad-based marketing planning, implementation and results.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning

  • Develop the yearly marketing plan to promote the company and its different business lines and products.
  • Coordinate with the sales manager to align marketing objectives and sales objectives with the company strategy.
  • Maintain the brand image and positioning within the markets
  • Instill a competitive intelligence culture within the company to assure the brand is maintaining its competitive advantage, to support as the driving department in setting the strategic directions of the organization, and to assure the brand is leading within its market.
  • Responsible for the go-to-market plan of any new business line from product concept testing till its launch in the market
  • Develop product penetration initiatives to support in reaching out for more segments with the current and new products.
  • To identify distribution channels/gaps where the company can grow its product portfolio profitably.
  • To plan CRM programs, relationship marketing initiatives, and drive the lifetime value of the targeted segments.
  • To develop marketing research/audit initiatives with the objective of assuring customer loyalty and clients’ satisfaction i.e. audit on product delivery, audit on service level, audit on promotion compliance.

Execution

  • Responsible to lead the marketing team for execution of the yearly plan
  • Coordinate with the company’s sales team to assure for execution of the agreed upon marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Responsible to assure that all brand touch points are consistent in terms of messages, look and feel, and positioning. This should also include the sales team, call center team, customer service team, along with the digital media, print, audio and video materials.
  • Manage all communication related activities directed to the industry players; distributors, sub distributors, etc.. This includes events, sales promotions, direct marketing initiatives, etc..
  • Initiate and manage relevant research initiatives such as new product testing and acceptance, usage and attitude of the target segments, price audit for our distributors and competitors, customer satisfaction, after sales checks, brand health track, …)
  • Responsible to manage relevant third parties such as advertising agencies, research firms, event management, PR agencies, brand agencies, …
  • Responsible to promote the corporate brand and all relevant communication activities such as the website, corporate profile, PR initiatives, CSR activities, etc…
  • Capitalize on relevant CSR activities to promote the corporate brand

Job Requirements

  • 8-10 years marketing experience in a B2B role( preferably in fresh food products )
  • Excellent understanding of B2B marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting process and use of analytical skills
  • Proven track record in delivering marketing campaigns that drive sales growth
  • Excellent communication skills to inspire industry partners, staff and to represent the company and brand
  • Ability to create and manage marketing strategies across multiple segments
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Clear alignment to the group’s values and culture
