Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced sales manager to join our globally growing startup. In this well-compensated position you will be responsible for prospecting, conducting sales, managing relationships, pitching and managing the sales process of our education technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gain solid awareness of our offering, competitive landscape, and our customers’ pain points.
- Generate sales leads and acquire new customers.
- Set sales targets, quotas and productivity KPIs.
- Present our technology solutions to potential clients through different channels.
- Work closely with clients and prospective clients to identify their needs and see where we can add more value. Report this feedback regularly to the team.
- Build and offer technology-based value propositions to customers.
- Identify new market gaps where our technology could effectively add value.
- Develop new approaches to increase product revenue.
- Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
- Build and maintain warm relationships with current clients; regularly following up and collecting feedback to ensure customer success.
Job Requirements
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding targets and driving sales growth in a business.
- Ideally, previous experience managing sales in the education technology sector.
- Ability to travel is a must.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Ability to position the product against competitors and identify the product’s edge.
- Ability to record client relationship using project management and CRM tools (such as Trello, Hubspot, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Complete fluency in English is an absolute must.
