Job Description

  • Reviewing Contract Documents before Signature in order to prepare relevant Comments & adjustments.
  • Drafting Company templates (Inter-Company Contracts, Main Contracts, Subcontracts).
  • Preparing, defending and negotiating Claims for Extension of Time and Additional Costs
  • Guiding Delay Analysis using internationally accepted techniques to quantify Time Impact of delays.
  • Prepare the summary matrix of Contract clauses, and Contract templates based on the contract, and in conjunction with Project Manager review Contractual obligations and Contract Templates.
  • Administering contracts by drafting contractual correspondence and notices; Provide recommendations regarding (Notice of Delay) and (Extension of Time), Sub-Contracts, and/or Supplier Agreements required for the job, and in conjunction with Project Manager, prepare and forward relevant notices within nominated timeframes.
  • Maintain and update NOD and EOT register, and notify Client/Employer formally where issues/special circumstances or breaches of Contract have taken place.
  • Preparation of the Project Time Schedules (Baseline, Updated, Actual vs. Planned …etc.) based on the BOQ items, and their logical durations and sequences.
  • Computing, monitoring and further modification of Cash-Flows; and comparison studies between the
  • Forecast (Planned) and the Actual Values, based on the Priced BOQ.
  • Projects’ Progress Monitoring & Follow-up, and Schedule Recovery / Crashing / Acceleration in order to meet Project Milestones & Finish Dates.
  • Monitoring of the Project’s Variation Orders and their impact on the Schedule, and Claiming extra durations accordingly.
  • Issuance of Schedule Status Reports as required (Accomplishments Last Week, Work in Progress, Two-week Look Ahead, Variance Summary, Variance Detail, Corrective Action, and Critical Path).
  • Preparation of Claims for Extension of Time and Associated Costs based on Events of Delay attributed to the Consultant / Owner, and any other cases contributing to the Project prolongation.

Job Requirements

  • Architecture / Civil Educational Background
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong Contracts Administration background
  • Proven record for supervising subordinates (Not individual contributor role)
  • CLAC / Primavera / PRMG / PMP is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience with minimum 7 years planning focused experience.
  • Contracting industry is preferred
