Job Description
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
- Track shipments and address any delays.
- Coordinate regular inventory audits.
- Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to check products’ faults and conditions (status upon delivery and storage conditions).
- Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments).
- Responsible for the proper warehousing and inventory control of DAP, Good devices, and spare parts.
- Ensure the maximum utilization of warehouse facilities and capacity.
- Effectively monitors the flow of goods and implements the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method.
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Retain and review warehouse documents and reports.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
- Monitoring the stock flow of DAP devices and spare parts.
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase, and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions.
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Stock, Inventory Controller or similar role.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Active participation in inventory audits.
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.
- 3-6 years of experience as stock/DAP controller.
- Very good computer skills.
- Very good command of the English language.
