Job Description
- We’re seeking multiple, ready to hit the ground running, multi-talented, dynamic thinkers.
- As a WordPress/WooCommerce Developer, you’ll work with our development and design teams to create amazing, responsive websites in WordPress, from scratch.
- This is not your typical WordPress/WooCommerce position.
- We make both platforms do things they were never intended to do.
- We’re looking for an Expert-Level WordPress/WooCommerce Superstar.
Job Requirements
- You should have at least 5 years of experience and a solid understanding of the WordPress theme structure, WordPress template hierarchy, and the WooCommerce eCommerce platform.
- You must also be fluent in HTML/CSS, CSS Preprocessors, and Javascript/jQuery.
- Expert knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce programming (i.e plugins and extensions from scratch).
- Fluent with PHP.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with MySQL Database.
- A typical day might include:
- Extending WordPress & WooCommerce functionality to work with external systems / API
- Refactoring inherited (garbage) code
- Providing input on business decisions and project goals
